Pumpkin (Pala‘ai)

PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE

Smooth, sweet, and packed with nutrients—this pumpkin smoothie blends frozen bananas, warm spices, and a touch of vanilla for a refreshing treat. Grab your blender and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

Servings: 1

  • 1/3 cup of cooked pumpkin or pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie mix)

  • 1 large or 2 small frozen bananas

  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar or maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter

Dairy-free option: Swap the milk for a non-dairy option like oat milk.

Nut-free option: Swap the peanut butter for sunflower seed butter or another nut-free butter.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  • Add more milk as needed if mixture is too thick or won't blend.

  • Serve cold.
