Tasting with Keiki is a food introduction series from the University of Hawaii’s 4-H program. Keiki help prepare and taste local produce like sweet potato and breadfruit, learning to try new foods and enjoy the fruits and vegetables of Hawai‘i.

Tasking with Keiki is all about bringing families together through food, fun, and local living! We partner with schools to offer a weekly program where keiki learn about fresh, local ingredients and explore the joys of creating healthy, island-inspired dishes. By connecting ʻohana and keiki to education, recipes, and community, we’re growing a love for local Hawaiian food—one delicious bite at a time!
